November is here, which means we’re only about 60 days away from the New Year. Let’s make sure that we are prepared to enjoy the Thanksgiving holidays. Here’s our checklist for the month of November!
If you’re planning on hosting Thanksgiving dinner, or any other holiday party, then it might be a good idea to get started on the prep. First up on our November maintenance checklist, we need to get some decluttering done! Make sure that the main living areas are not cluttered with anything unnecessary so you can have space for your guests. And while you’re at it, get some deep cleaning done on your living and dining rooms!
Bring out the fancy china and cutlery from the basement and start planning the dinner itself! You’ll thank us later.
Since you’re having guests over, or even if you’re not, you gotta do a bathroom check up. Make sure to check for leaks around sinks and toilets. We don’t want any drips or puddles interfering with all the holiday fun we’ll be having the next few months!
Furthermore, you would want to deep clean the bathroom and make sure it’s squeaky clean. Get to scrubbing, use bleach to clean the shower, toilet, sink, and other surfaces.

To round out our November maintenance checklist, we have to do a final round of yardwork. We wouldn’t want anyone to slip and fall on ice. One way we can avoid this is by making sure that our outdoor areas are rid of any clutter, may it be pumpkins, leaves or otherwise. In addition, we would want to check walkways, stairs, and railings are sturdy and don’t have damage that may contribute to any accidents this winter.
And lastly, stow away any furniture or equipment for the season properly in the basement or shed to avoid damage from the cold and snow.
