The Housing Corporation of Arlington’s vision is for Arlington to be a thriving, economically diverse community. A community that offers a wide variety of affordable housing seamlessly integrated into the fabric of the town. The organization’s housing initiatives prioritize safety, environmental sustainability, and perpetual affordability.
HCA envisions a community not only where residents take on leadership roles. But also actively participating in civic discussions to foster affordability and inclusivity in town.
At the heart of this vision are HCA’s members, including tenants, homeowners, congregations, businesses, and other stakeholders. A community who contributes their time, resources, and expertise to maintain the diversity and stability the town. Members actively engage by serving on the Board of Directors, committees, or contributing in various ways throughout the year.
Today, HCA owns and manages 150 units of affordable housing in Arlington, serving a wide range of incomes and family types.
HCA is also actively building a pipeline in order to continue to expand housing affordability through acquisition and rehabilitation of existing properties or new construction. Additionally, the organization is available to partner with other public or private entities in order to develop affordable housing locally or in neighboring towns.
